WHAT’S GOING ON

A Message from Club President, Michael Carpenter: Our Club  represents  the social and leisure aspect of the membership, and offers a wide range of facilities suitable for both  the  young  and the  not quite so young. Anyone over   the  age  of  18  can  join  and  will  be  made  very welcome. Best wishes, Michael Carpenter. The  Club  Committee is  responsible  for organising and hosting   most   of    the   in- house activities and special events.     To    meet    the Committee    officers,   just click on the picture, left. With  everything the Club has to offer, from snooker and darts,  to quizzes and meat raffles,  to dinner and dance, there's always  something  to  entertain  and i nvolve our members. To keep up with all the goings on, we highly recommend you  check  the  events,   news  and  activities   sections, regularly.  Which you can do using our free WiFi. In    addition   to   providing comfortable  and     relaxed      surroundings,      members enjoy an excellent range of beers,   including  selected guest   ales  offered  on  a rotation  basis.    A      full  complement    of     wines,  spirits and liqueurs are also available, at very friendly prices. Feeling peckish? Light meals and snacks are available at lunchtime,  from  the   3B's   Food    Bar.    Freshly made  sandwiches   and   salads, homemade  made  pasta,  all day  breakfast,  and   a   selection  of  desserts  are  just  some  of  the tempting items on offer. The   kitchen open at the following Times 11.30-14.00.      Food  is   also   available  on   Saturday evenings, 18.30-21.00.   On Sundays, come and  enjoy  our  popular  Carvery, 12.30- 14.30. Members  may  be   accompanied  by  their   spouse (or nominated partner), and by their children under the age of 18,   unless  there  is  a restriction in accordance with Club bye-laws. Members  can introduce  and  sign guests in for a fee of £1.00  per  person,   though  guests  are  encouraged  to apply for membership in their own right. The  Club  has  ample parking, for  both  cars   and   coaches. And   we   have   attractive, spacious gardens, where you can  soak  up  the  sun,  whilst the   children   play   on   the swings. The  Club  also  has   excellent  catering   facilities,    and function  rooms are available for private events. Whether you're planning a wedding, or need a location  for  a  business meeting, we have  a  variety  of  menus  to satisfy your  needs  and  budget.     Click on the picture,  right,   for information on booking  your  next   function,   at the Legion.
